| These images are part of an ongoing project in which I am documenting bark found on trees throughout the world. Please don’t ask me why. I know next to nothing about botany and have no idea what type of trees I am photographing (nor do I really care). I guess I am just fascinated by the incredible natural variety in texture, pattern and color that I have encountered on my travels. Some of these photos came from trees just a few blocks from my home; others from visits to such places as England, France, the Netherlands, and Brazil. |
