This series began with photographs of the land that I took from the window seat of airplanes in flight. Decisions I made regarding the size, shape, color, contrast and texture of the images were all made in an attempt to convey the sense of awe and serenity that I felt while viewing these scenes. The images often remind me of Asian landscape paintings, one of my favorite art forms. |
